Edgybees announced its intent to invest around $5.5 million in its own operations. Edgybees technology was originally applied to AR drone racing and was released in partnership with DJI in 2017. Later that year, Edgybees released First Response, a type of drone-flying app used by emergency responders to orient themselves in confusing environments and to be able to track rapidly evolving circumstances. I think this development is fascinating because a heavy investment is being made in the logistics of crisis management which, ultimately, would save lives. Cool stuff. https://venturebeat.com/2018/02/28/edgybees-lands-5-5-million-to-save-lives-with-ar-drones/

Airbus has just unveiled footage from the first test flight of its prototype taxi drone called the "Alpha One." Its test flight lasted 53 seconds. This stuff is kinda fascinating to me. Drone technology has progressed immensely in recent years. This proves to be an advancement that might allow people to fly to work. How cool. https://mashable.com/2018/02/23/airbus-drone-taxi-first-test-flight/#fan7HIbbFmqn
